Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
Harbor arranges 1:1 in-person meetings between members of closed communities over WhatsApp. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- From organizers: your email address and the community details you provide.
- From members:your phone number (added by your community organizer), the messages you exchange with the Harbor agent, and the profile details you choose to share in those conversations — such as your name, what you do, your interests, who you'd like to meet, and your neighborhood.
- About meetings: match decisions, scheduling preferences, confirmed meeting details, and the feedback you share afterwards.
How we use it
- To propose matches within your community and coordinate meetings.
- To describe you to a potential match — always anonymized until a meeting is mutually confirmed. Your name and contact details are never shared before both sides confirm.
- To improve match quality using the feedback you provide.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run Harbor: Twilio and WhatsApp (Meta) to deliver messages, Anthropic to power the conversational agent, Google (Places) to find meeting venues, and Supabase and Vercel to host the service. Your community organizer can see member participation status and confirmed meetings for their own community. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
Message the Harbor agent at any time to stop participating, or ask your organizer to remove your number. To request deletion of your data, contact your community organizer or email us and we'll remove your profile, transcripts, and match history.
